heya! We almost went into this weekend's show with no main course! Sucky, huh?
Here's the deal. The same people can't always do the main course. The same people can't always do the whole dinner. So far, I've seen a lot of Randi, Kayla, Paul, as well as some contributions from Kerry and myself.
It was my hope that by breaking up the dinner into portions that people could more easily just donate to the cause, we could put out a more varied meal, and that would be easier on the contributors as well as the Impact budget.
Can we get our nonsense together on this? I understand that not everyone can contribute, but the same people can't always be on the hook for it, either.

I think splitting up the meals is a great idea. The thing for me is I'd love to help but I never have time to cook a main course during the day since I'm a pretty busy kid, but I'm definitely willing to bring little things to complete the meal. Hmm...maybe one day my mom might be willing to make dinner.

Little things are great -- and I really appreciate you and Kayla bringing in bread and dessert and stuff. My big concern with the meal, having the venue that far from home for a lot of us, was how on earth to bring in a meal and keep it even remotely up to temp for food safety and all that. Especially without any facilities to reheat or cook in.
Any ideas? Or should we bank on grabbing our main course from a local grocery or something if we're going outside of Tacoma for venue?
Other than that, I really liked the venue (the acoustics in that room blew Brick City away for that genre, in particular)!
