Okay folks! You have a little while longer to add any items you want to the agenda for discussion. There's no freakin' way I can get a meeting together this week. First off, I haven't gotten the space for it. What would be better, do you think?
* library (there's a deposit for Pierce County rooms, I think $25) * Manitou community center * Boys and Girls Club? (can find out about this this week...) * Some other place I haven't thought of that's free, where we won't make pests of ourselves, and that will hold more than ten people comfortably, with refreshments (drinks, people bringing dinner, etc) Be aware that we run too late for Tully's and a lot of places like that. Parking/public transit access is also a consideration. Schools are up in the air yet, and I'd like to get something solid working so we could start planning on meeting at the same place each month.
Also this week, I have a regular heap of meetings with people for Impact stuff. Not that I don't love you all to pieces, but the idea of adding another meeting to the roster, when I'll have better information for everyone after this week anyway, is absolutely abhorrent. I expect to be "meeting-ed out" at the end of this, but all to the greater good.

So over the summer I had a little internship job at the Tacoma Library and you can use their meeting rooms for free but they don't allow food or drinks. This has more info about it in case you wanted to look into it: www.tacomapubliclibrary.org/Page.aspx?hid=1242

Thanks Bella!
Pierce Co. libraries allow food/drinks...as long as you make sure not to leave a huge mess, but there is the deposit. The main reason I wanted a space that would allow that is the time we usually have our meetings may be the first chance some folks have had all day to grab a bite or something. Low blood sugar doesn't make for productive meetings, lol!
