Honestly, I think it's about time this happens. We all need to just set aside our differences and make up with these boys. I don't think we seriously have anything wrong with them, except that some of them may talk shit about us. But we have done the same. If all the volunteers from both venues sat down, set aside everything and talked, I think we could come up some amazing ideas. We seriously can learn so much from them. And if we joined forces, who knows what could happen. We could take over this city. But, the main thing is we all need to be open minded about this. And we all need to be mature and listen to each other. You don't have to go along with it, but it would make things a lot easier. This is just an idea, but it's about time we made up with them. They're not our rival or our competition. They're another venue doing the same thing we are. Supporting this scene just as hard as we are. So what do you say? Time to make up? I think so

And to add to it, since we're trying to run Club Impact as staff, I think we can learn how to do so from them. Since they've been running venues for a while. Yes, not all of them have been successful, but we can still learn a lot from them about running a venue. And how to keep it running. Cause I know I want to learn more about it and I know everyone else does.

I'm apprehensive, but I do want to end this "feud", it's pointless.

You're right, this is not a competition. But I think sitting and talking with them is childish.. Just stop talking shit. That's all.

Honestly, knowing their personalities, just sitting down and talking it over isn't just going to resolve the issue at hand. It'll be like putting a band-aid on a torn-off arm. The best way to resolve the issue is be the bigger man/woman and just not say anything. Simple as that.

What I was talking about more, is sitting down and coming up with up ideas to join together and create something huge. Not just sit and talk the drama out. More like sit and combine ideas to one huge city take over.

i work at viaduct and have been there since the very beginning and i have never had a problem with anyone at impact. i grew up at the old impact building pretty much and have known derek for a very long time and are still friends. i still don't know where any of this came from the beginning. i know a couple of you have told me about getting "harassed" and stuff like that, but that has been taken care of and has been for a long time. not sure what we would talk about or settle differences cause all of us feel there isn't any.

plus we are all kids just like you except no one that runs viaduct is over the age of 29 and most of us are younger than that.

Remember a long time ago...I really dont remember the details... but there was an all day festival. People got tickets and the fest was held at 3 or 4 venues.
So some bands played at one venue and some at another. The festival bounced around different venues all in one day.
I think that'd be dope. Do you remember that, Cassidy? It was a few years ago.
